Southwest Florida has too many attractions and points of interest to list them all. this is just a shortlist of our favorites:
Dining
CURRENTLY CLOSED
Located in the Cape Coral Yacht Club this place is great for drinks, dinner or just to hang out. You can drive or boat there although parking or docking can be equally difficult as it could get very crowded.
Big portions, great and fast service, easy to park and big enough to serve a lot of guests so the wait time for a table is not that bad.
Good food, good drinks, and always happy hour, can get crowded at times but waiting in the marina or the bar is not bad at all.
Hard to explain with words… but you need to experience dinner there. The owner is always there and personally visits every table. the food is delicious and the price is very good for the quality of the food. In summer mosquitoes can be annoying but some bug spray will take care of it.
Our absolutely favorite bakery, go there early for breakfast or bring home one of the best pastries in the city.
Beaches
Ft Myers beach, not very far by boat or driving, if you visit stop at the Lani Kay for a drink is a very active beach with lots of people in the summer.
